Getting awards and achievements for the best marketer category is a joy for Meli Yunita, Marketing Officer at ED-SEN Consulting. For her this is a surprise in 2021 that makes Meli even more motivated to make an even better contribution to the company.
"This award makes me want to work even better in the future, I want to make a bigger contribution to the company," said Meli.
Meli is an alumnus of Indonesia literature at Yogyakarta State University. Joined the Marketing Division of Edsen Consulting in 2018.
Meli said that last year was a tough challenge at work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Usually before the pandemic, the Marketing Department held an offline event by inviting clients to introduce Edsen Consulting services.
During the pandemic, little has changed in the way marketing works. We have become accustomed to making online events such as webinars and inviting customers to introduce what services ED-SEN Consulting.
“Initially, we were still adjusting to the work pattern from offline to online. During the Pandemic, we in marketing turned to webinars. I started learning how to use Zoom, Teams, and other online platforms. said Meli.
For the level of difficulty, Meli said, to offer Edsen Consulting services to customers, the marketing team usually does follow-up from the database obtained from webinars. "One by one, we usually follow up data from webinars so that they can become leads and are followed up by the sales team," said Meli.
Early joining Edsen Consulting Meli admitted that she made a lot of adjustments and learned about the company's business. I read a lot of company profiles and studied how Edsen Consulting runs its business. "Besides studying company profiles, I also study companies that are the business targets of Edsen Consulting," said Meli.
Meli said that before entering the world of marketing, she had experience as a salesperson at a bank. Then Meli also had experience as a Customer Service before finally becoming a marketing as it is now.
Being a Marketing at Edsen Consulting was the first experience for Meli. She previously used to offer services with a B2C (Business to Consumer) business model. But at Edsen Consulting, Meli gets a new challenge because Edsen Consulting offers business services with a B2B business model. (Business to Business).
“If it's a B2C business model I can immediately get an answer whether they are willing to buy our products. For the B2B business model, we usually can't immediately get a decision whether the client will buy or use the services of Edsen Consulting." Meli said.
It is hoped that in the future, Meli plans to participate in training that can support her daily work. She admitted that she wanted to take part in digital marketing and event management seminars or training.
“I want to improve my skills and abilities in the marketing department so that I can support my work. I hope that every year there should be new skills and abilities that I can get,” said Meli.
Starting from an internship student until finally becoming part of the ED-SEN Consulting project team, it was a joy for Bil Biry Mohammad. The most impressive experience was when Bill worked on a project while completing his thesis at the Bina Nusantara University campus majoring in Information Systems.
Bil is part of the project team that has been working on the Power BI project at ED-SEN Consulting. When he first entered Edsen Consulting, Bil was a student who did an internship at Edsen Consulting. The first project that Bil worked on was working on a planning and budgeting platform for a multi-finance company in Indonesia.
Bil said, an impressive experience was when working on a project while working on a thesis. "At that time, I gained valuable experience because during the day I worked on projects for clients and at night I returned to campus for thesis guidance," said Bil.
This year Bil became one of the recipients of the Award and Achievement for the Best Consultant in Business Analytic category. This award is the second award for Bil, because in the previous year he was also one of the Top Achievers thanks to his contribution to Edsen Consulting.
There is more motivation for Bil to make even more contributions this year. For him, getting an award from the company was a pride and sparked his enthusiasm to work even better.
"I am very happy to be able to get an award and achievement from ED-SEN Consulting this year," said Bil.
Bil said that this year he is working on a Business Intelligence project at a manufacturing company in Indonesia. He admitted that this project was his first experience working on Business Intelligence because previously at ED-SEN Consulting Bil worked on Anaplan and Oracle NetSuite projects.
For the difficulty level of the project being worked on, Bill admits that each project has a different difficulty level. According to Bil, the Oracle NetSuite team must know the business process and ERP concept well because Oracle NetSuite is used for daily transactions in the company. Meanwhile for Anaplan, Bil said the team had to master good accounting and logic.
According to Bil, the difficulty level of Power BI is in the process of preparing data for Power BI. "The challenge in working on this project is because Power BI is full scripting," said Bil.
For the team working on the project, Bil said, the team working on the project must be solid and must know their respective responsibilities so that the project that is carried out can run well.
Bil added, each team member must also have the initiative to ask questions if they have difficulty working on the project. To that end, Bil also said the importance of good communication between fellow team members to avoid disputes within the team.
Bil, who has joined ED-SEN Consulting since 2016, said that during a pandemic like this it becomes a challenge that makes the workflow a little different. Even though during the pandemic Bil worked at home, with a solid project team it did not hamper the project. "When we have a meeting at the office with our clients, we focus on discussing the extent of the progress of the project. However, lack of focus is the main concern when the meeting done by online.” said Bil.
Bil has hopes in the future to further increase his contribution to the company by participating in training such as Project Management, Data Warehouse, Machine Learning, Big Data. “This year, I plan to have project management training so that in the future I am able to handle a project from the start until the project is finished. "Said Bil.

Raden Panji Mahardika or familiarly called Panji is one of the 9 recipients of the ED-SEN Consulting Award and Achievement. Panji received an Award in the Best Young Achiever category for his achievements in 2020.
Panji did not expect to get this award, because he felt that there were many other project teams who gave more contribution than me. But Panji also admitted that he was happy because the company had appreciated what he had been doing so far.
"This award makes me more motivated to do better on the projects I work on. I want to make an even bigger contribution to ED-SEN Consulting. "
Panji said that when he first got into the project, he adjusted more to accounting systems such as financial reports. He admitted that he learned a lot with his teammates in the Iqbal and Febra projects.
However, as time went on, Panji began to understand the accounting system. "At first I didn't really understand what balance sheet, profit and loss are, for that I asked Mas Iqbal a lot about these terms so that I would have a first picture before discussing them with clients," said Panji.
When he first worked on the Anaplan project at one of the decacorn startup companies in Indonesia, initially Panji admitted that he was quite difficult. But thanks to a solid project team and always providing solutions when he was having difficulties, finally Panji was able to work on this Anaplan project with the team. "From the client side, luckily it's also cooperative, so it's better to do it," said Panji.
For teamwork, Panji feels that the project he is working on is easier to do with a team of 3 people. “From an accounting perspective, I don't understand anything, usually Mas Iqbal is a good friend for discussions to find solutions. The three of us can complement each other, "said Panji.
Adjustment of work during the Covid-19 Pandemic from Work From Office to Work From Home was not an obstacle for Panji in working on the Anaplan project at the company. Every day, Panji and his team coordinate with the team from the company to report on the progress of the project.
Apart from being a startup company, Decacorn in Indonesia, currently Panji is also part of the project team that implements Anaplan in a financial service and automotive rental company. Panji admitted that even though he was not involved in this project from the start, he had to quickly adapt to other teams. The presence of Pak Firman as Project Manager (PM) helped Panji a lot in working on this project.
When he first entered ED-SEN Consulting, Panji said that he had not yet imagined what kind of project he would work on. After several weeks of joining, Panji began to learn about Anaplan. For one month he studied until he took Anaplan certification.
After I finished studying and took Anaplan certification, I began to be trusted to work on the Anaplan project at one of the decacorn startup companies in Indonesia. "I am happy to be trusted by the company to work on the project, although I have no idea what the project will be like," said Panji.
Panji hopes that in the future he wants to further deepen Anaplan to the level of Master Anaplaner. I want to take certification up to Anaplaner Masters level. "In Anaplan there are several levels, such as the Bulider Model level, Solution Architect, up to the highest level, namely Master Anaplaner. So I hope to get to that level, "said Panji.
To get to that level, Panji has been exploring Anaplan a lot. In addition, Panji also often asks people who are more knowledgeable about Anaplan.
Panji said that the beginning of his liking for technology began when he was in junior high school. At that time, Panji was very interested in cellphone technology. His interest in technology became stronger when Panji was in college. Panji took the Informatics Management major for a Diploma then continued with the Information Systems major to take his bachelor's degree.
ED-SEN Consulting became the first company for Panji. Becoming a consultant at ED-SEN Consulting was her first work experience. When he first entered ED-SEN Consulting, Panji felt it was not too difficult to make adjustments. "Because I have an IT background when I was on campus, so when I started the work of designing it wasn't too difficult and everything I got in college could be applied in the company."
Panji also has hopes that in the future ED-SEN Consulting will be better known as a Consultant partnering with Anaplan.
