Vicky Sanjaya is a Consultant Manager who is responsible for several projects in the company daily.
The human resource side is a concern for Vicky Sanjaya to be even better in the future. Because according to him, as a consulting firm, the biggest asset is in terms of human resources.
Why is the human resource side considered so important is because Vicky Sanjaya sees business competition in the future as very competitive. Vicky gave an example, for ERP, in 2020, there was more competition.
For this reason, he hopes that the resource side has more knowledge about various platforms and is not limited to the projects that are currently being worked on. "I hope our resources will not only have experience and insight about the project being undertaken but as a consultant the insight should be broader," said Vicky Sanjaya.
Second, in terms of speed, he hopes that the resources at ED-SEN must be even more agile and must be ready to work on not only one project but at least be able to handle two projects so that the efficiency of resources is more optimal.
Vicky said that people who are used to working on more than one project will be accustomed to multi-tasking work and have good time management. Especially in a pandemic era like today, where we can work from home, of course we can be more mobile with more flexible time.
He also hopes that each consultant will have the initiative to work on the project and not just wait for directions from the project leader. "As consultants they have to find out what the consultant's way is." Said Vicky.
Vicky also assessed that, as a consulting company, it is necessary to have certification for consultants so that their knowledge can meet standards in working on projects. The certifications are in Coupa, Anaplan, and Oracle NetSuite. "For Anaplan, the certification is good, yes, because there is also a KPI from Anaplan's side, so we really monitor the level of ability of each individual," said Vicky.
The communication factor is also a concern for Vicky. As a consulting company, the communication factor is a very important part so that the project can run well. Communication with the team, according to Vicky, must be detailed and transparent and communication with clients must be more structured. "Good communication will form a strong team inside and out even stronger," said Vicky.
In dividing the project team, Vicky usually divides the work team into 3 factors, namely technical, leadership, and communication factors. He also said that apart from being strong in technical and leadership, the project team must also have the courage to communicate and present how far the project is going.
As a consulting firm, ED-SEN Consulting does not only provide the best solutions for its clients. However, Vicky also hopes that in the future consultants can provide ideas for developments in terms of IT in the future. "Consultants can provide a kind of road map as to what kind of client can develop in the future," said Vicky. Prior to joining ED-SEN Consulting, Vicky has experience working in several IT consultants. Joining ED-SEN since 2020, Vicky who is an alumnus of Petra Christian University is currently a Consultant Manager who holds the Anaplan and Oracle NetSuite projects at ED-SEN Consulting.
In the future, Vicky hopes that ED-SEN Consulting will have a training centre so that the knowledge of all employees at ED-SEN Consulting can continue to grow every time. So, every ED-SEN Consulting employee has a good standard for working in the company. If the knowledge level of the team at ED-SEN Consulting already has a good standard and is in the excellent category, in the future they can become advisory for companies that are ED-SEN Consulting clients to develop more. "So, for new companies that become clients of ED-SEN Consulting, we can help in terms of work arrangements so that they can shape and develop a better company," said Vicky.
